So many aspects need to be taken into play to have a strong, faith-filled relationship you’ve always prayed for. When I went through the process of dating and finding my husband I built a framework that gave me a strong and solid marriage.

I went through my relationship process:

  • Courting
  • Dating
  • Engagement and wedding planning
  • Wedding day/Church marriage ceremony. 

While in the waiting season I had many questions:

  • How was I going to know if he was “the one”?
  • How would I even find him?
  • What do I need to do to make it happen faster?

I know I needed to practice patience and move forward in God’s time, but surely there was something else I could do than just: go to church more, read my bible, and wait. Waiting and choosing the person to marry and spend the rest of your life with, can be a very overwhelming season.

Learning through trial and error gave me great insight on what works to create a solid foundation to marriage. But it would have been better if  I had a CLEAR path to follow from the start and the EXACT steps to take that'd save my time and effort. I  now know the most impactful steps to take that give you confidence in your relationship, and I want to tell you.

I help Orthodox Christians move from confusion towards discernment. You'll be guided on what a faithful Orthodox marriage actually requires and be able to recognise and define compatibility beyond just physical attraction. Also, strengthening your spiritual readiness and building confidence in your standards, are key pillars to a strong relationship that you're praying for.

When I got tired of waiting, I set out to have a successful relationship from the start, from courting all the way through to marriage. I didn’t want to waste my time dating for the sake of dating, I wanted to get married to the man of my prayers and not have to sacrifice my faith, my values, or my personality traits.

I knew God had the perfect man for me that would love all aspects of my beliefs and personality quirks. I would be the person that someone was praying for to be their wife. And by the grace of God, our prayers were answered.

I was in a long distance relationship, I was from America and he was from Australia. The time it took us from learning the other existed to our wedding day was less than 2 years.

We courted for 8 months before meeting in person, dated for about 8 months long distance, engaged for 3 months, and now married for 7.5 years. The longer we're married, the more in love we've become.

I learned that it's essential to have a clear vision for marriage, aligning Orthodox Christian values with the strategy for “spouse-finding”. Once you do that, the process of attaining a beautiful marriage you’re praying for becomes Peaceful instead of overwhelming.
